Melaka oh Melaka !

Visit The Historical City Melaka..

Melaka is a very nice place to spend our holidays with our family..

This is a place where you can see malacca town from the top. it is near to dataran pahlawan and mahkota parade. choose to go at night as the view is nicer with lights. Price is ok- RM 15 for MyCard holder (adults) and RM 10 for kids(with myKid).

View from Menara Taming Sari...

From the highest place... The whole Melaka City...

Nice attraction for some photo opportunity, and also to see malacca city from elevated vantage point it turns 360 degrees on the way up and down, so everyone gets to view 360 degrees buy tickets on site  good, as you can check weather conditions first before deciding whether to go for this ride day time sights should be nicer..

Malacca River...

It is like taking a ride in a theme park except that is for real. Kids and old folks would love the things they see along the river.. The pre recorded commentaries are in English and Malay.. Most of the Walls on the older buildings have been artly painted..

Join the River Cruise to see beautiful lights and murals...

Melaka China-Town....

It's just a long row of souvenir shops which sell everything and many of these things have even nothing to do with the city or China. It's definitely made for tourists. If you head to the northen part of the district you'll get a better piece of China Town. Generally the whole city seems to be made for tourists.

Kota A Famosa  ...

In 1511, a Portuguese fleet arrived under the command of Afonso de Albuquerque. His forces attacked and defeated the armies of the Malacca Sultanate. Moving quickly to consolidate his gains, Albuquerque had the fortress built around a natural hill near the sea. Albuquerque believed that Malacca would become an important port linking Portugal to the Spice Route in China. At this time other Portuguese were establishing outposts in such places as MacauChina and GoaIndia in order to create a string of friendly ports for ships heading to China and returning home to Portugal.
